I will stamp all over 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.

Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
